Beate Kukuk is a German pipe collector who has a large collection of morta pipes in various sizes, as well as being a very nice and witty lady! She's also collecting briar pipes and Prungnaud clays. She and a varying crew of friends visit Brittany each summer and make a point of stopping in to visit. This pic is from their first visit of 2003, which was just Beate and Michael. That black blob in front of her is our cat Freya, doing her best to sabotage my photography efforts.
