Shipping Information
We offer three options for shipping.
Colissimo. Colissimo International is France's mail service. They offer Priority
shipping and Economy shipping, differences as follows:
Colissimo Priority costs 24 € for a pipe-sized box, and will reach most
buyers in 4-8 working days. It includes automatic insurance of up to
206 €, with additional insurance available at extra cost (When needed, we
buy this out of our own pocket). Shipments are trackable beginning the
day AFTER shipment, via Colissimo's web site.
Colissimo Economy costs 20.50 € for a pipe-sized box, and will reach most
buyers in 9-15 working days. Economy is automatically insured for 206 €
but cannot be insured for greater amounts, so very expensive pipes
shipped via this method are at buyer's risk. Economy mail also cannot
be tracked.
Both shipping methods require a signature for delivery. Note that
delivery times are ESTIMATED, not guaranteed, and sometimes it takes
longer. I have no control over this. Once a package has gone missing
for thirty days from shipment, we can file a claim on it, but until
thirty days have elapsed, there's nothing anyone can do but follow it on
the tracking site. Typically, shipments by Colissimo do not incur
customs fees, but again, this is not something I have any control over
or can offer any guarantees on.

Chronopost We can also ship packages by Chronopost, France's version of FedEx.
Shipments by Chronopost are trackable, insured, and Chronopost typically
reaches most US buyers in 1-4 working days. Exact pricing varies by
location and insurance, but estimated costs run between 75 and 80 € per
box. They are expensive, but do offer faster service and the
convenience of an English-language tracking site. The downside of
Chronopost is that, like FedEx and UPS, they ALWAYS go through Customs
and are more likely to incur Customs fees, for which the buyer will be
solely responsible. |
