Below l'll be listing some recommended
contacts and pipe businesses, and also websites for other pipemakers
whose work I enjoy and admire. This is not going to be as elaborate and
comprehensive a list as I had on the old site, but I don't feel there's
a need for such a large list since pipes.org offers everything in one
spot. Here, first and foremost we have -

The Pipe & Pint
A traditional shop selling fine pipes, cigars, a wide variety of pipe
tobaccos, and excellent craft-brewed domestic and imported beers. Ask
for Larry!

The center of the web pipe world. If
you go anywhere, go here, because from here you can get
to anywhere else.
Pipes & Tabacs
French language site devoted to all aspects of the pipe hobby en français.
Pipes & Tobaccos Magazine
The best periodical on the pipes business and hobby that I've seen. Published quarterly.
CORPS
This is the home of the Conclave of Richmond Pipe Smokers, who put on
one of the best shows of the year. They have some interesting pipe lore
on the site, and they're also home to the excellent pipemaking guide
written by Walt DeVisser.
The Yahoo Pipe Club
A very friendly online pipe club with all the benefits of Yahoo's club
system, including instant messaging, weekly chats, a photo gallery for
member's star pipes, and a messageboard that fills up fast. Highly
recommended! I can be found on Yahoo under the strikingly original
profile name of trevertalbert
The French Pipe Club
The only online pipe club I know of in the French language. Excellent
discussions that stay remarkably on topic and a full library packed
with nice photos make this an essential group for anyone qui parle
français!
Fumeursdepipe.NET
The home page for the Fumeursdepipe discussion board. Definitely worth
a visit for anyone interested in all pipe topics en français.
Pipa Ergo Sum
The Italian pipe page, home to discussion boards, chats, and all sorts
of pipe lore and trivia for those folks conversant in Italian.
John Seiler's Pipe Fiction
Looking for pipe-centric science fiction? Check out John's new site
where you can find his entire SF saga for download in PDF format.
