Notes: A more aggressive bend than usual, coupled with the wedgy shape of the bowl, give this pipe a jauntier look than usual.  The morta of this block was extremely black and very dense, with the result being that it's quite difficult to discern the grain rings in the photos, and even in bright light inspection!  It has a remarkably dense pattern of rings, but to the eye it seems almost solid, opaque black.
