Two Claws in a row! After we'd dug the model stummel out of our storage of repeatable shapes, it seemed a good idea to go ahead and make a few more of these. Although, two in a row is about my tolerance for repeats, so others may be longer in arriving. This one makes a beautiful follow-up to the previous sandblasted one, though - Despite being the same shape in essence, it is a bit longer, thinner, slinkier, and more graceful... All features that go well with its smooth finish, I think.
As with most Goblins, the stem is horn, handcut by a French supplier in the Jura. This particular example is quite nice indeed, with gorgeous grain and color tones. Goblin Claws, they're multiplying!
