Talbert Pipes Life in France People Mr. and Madame Hervy

This is not Mr. or Madame Hervy

Mr. and Madame Hervy
This couple and their son run the local Renault garage that's just across the parking lot from our house. We arrived in France with no transportation and little money, and had to find something as quickly as we could before our rental car expenses drained our pockets completely. The Hervy's pulled off the challenging task of finding a used car in good shape that was within our budget... no small task, as I have always been leery of buying used cars. Our little Clio "Chippie" has proven to be a durable and endearing thing however, and should serve as basic transportation for us over the next few years until the business is established enough for us to find ourselves another GTI. Madame Hervy went far beyond her obligations by driving us twice to St. Nazaire and helping us wrestle with the local automotive department for our car's grey card. Madame Hervy is not much over 5' tall but she's one of the most vibrant bundles of energy one could encounter. I'll try to post pics of the Hervy's eventually, but for now one must settle for the car they found for us.
