Name: The Escher

Notes:  While I specifically tried to avoid doing any Danish-ey pipes for Rheinbach, I did want to include at least one really nice smooth in what I'd describe as "my own style", at least when it comes to freehands.  This pipe plays with perspective in several fun ways - One really has to sight down the line of the bowl drilling in order to align the stem properly, because the angles lend a bit of optical illusion.

Positives:   I keep saying "big bowls", and here's another one, though it isn't as big as the "monster" twins and the dimensions of the pipe make the bowl seem deceptively smaller than it really is.  The grain is just stunning and varies from straight to flame to bird's-eye as it covers the bowl.  It even sits!

Negatives:   Both the shape and the angle of the top tilt make the pipe better-suited for holding in the right hand than the left, though I'm able to hold it comfortably either way.
