This can be best seen in the top-down views above. The thick walls allow these shapes to be deep-blasted, so they can produce craggier blasts than many of the other LB designs. Another advantage is that they work equally nicely as churchwardens! All-around, one of the best combinations of practicality and looks in the LB line, IMO.
