Talbert Pipes Ligne Bretagne Shape Notes Shapes 11-15 Ligne Bretagne
Ligne Bretagne Standard Shapes 11-15

Shape 11 Bowl Height: 4.8 cm
Chamber Width: 1.8 cm
Notes: This is a cutty-like shape, almost like a clay in its bowl style and lean. Despite the elegance of the design, the bowl walls are actually nicely thick and a lot sturdier than many cuttys I have seen.

Shape 12 Bowl Height: 4 cm
Chamber Width: 1.8 cm
Notes: Whew! This one is a tough one. There will likely be very few of these made as the shape demands a great deal of work in sanding and finishing, too much for a minimal budget. It has always been a pet peeve of mine when factory-produced pipes of such shapes were buffed quickly, leaving obvious dark patches of unbuffed stain around the shank and leaving bright edges with darker centers on the panels. We're dedicated to doing a quality finish on these but it takes time, thus the rarity of this shape.

Shape 13 Bowl Height: 5.3 cm
Chamber Width: 1.8 cm
Notes: An unusual, more fantasy-themed design which hopefully will be luckier than its number! I expect that these will make a lot of large churchwardens and other unusual pipes.

Shape 14 Bowl Height: 4 cm
Chamber Width: 1.8 cm
Notes: This is probably the most smokable, friendly shape of the set so far, so I had to give it the lucky number of Bilbo Baggins. It would likely be called an apple or a fat billiard - the bowl is billiard-sized but with thicker walls and a chubbier look, making it more comfortable to hold in the hand.

Shape 15 Bowl Height: 4.8 cm
Chamber Width: 1.8 cm
Notes: Our classic large bulldog. This is roughly a group 6 in bowl size. We do have one bulldog that is larger yet, however. This one is bigger and thicker overall than the #10 bulldog, with heavier walls. The thickness of the walls should allow for some nice sandblasting on these pieces.
