Shape 101

Notes: We've found a few of these pipes in the past mixed in with other boxes, but never more than one or two here and there, so previously I've just tagged them 'Big Billiards' and not worried about a shape number. However, since we recently found an entire box of these buried under a pile of other stuff, I thought it was time to make them "official". The shape 101 is probably our most popular shape with our US buyers, who tend to prefer larger pipes. The bowl is about the size of my group 5 Dunhills, and it's hard to get more traditional/classical. It has thick walls as well, so it can take a good sandblast, and it's perfectly sized to fit with the best quality stems we use in LBs (a tapered French-made ebonite stem that I personally love, because it is exceptionally resistant to fading... more resistant, in my experience, than most of the handcut stems from rod stock!).
