Notes:  I didn't sandblast this one as hard as I often do, because I didn't want to lose the shape - the shape details of the panels are what make these pipes look good, and I was trying to avoid the inevitable deformation that goes with heavy blasting.  Nonetheless, it has a pleasantly tight and detailed ring grain pattern, and it finished up so well that we were able to leave it unstained.  Expect excellent darkening potential as the pale blond wood is smoked.
