Notes:  I loved the look of this shape the last time we made a couple of these, and have been wanting to make more ever since.  I like the stubby proportions, the round, fat bowl... pretty much everything about the shape.  This one has exceptional bird's-eye grain on both sides, with a lot of that sort of "plasma" look between the grain points.  It did have a couple of exceedingly tiny black spots, ergo the brown stain, but it kept the price down too.
