An excellent example of the pipe design that became the transitional point for our morta pipes, nicely splitting the production in half between the smaller Classic grade, like this, and the much rarer Signature pipes. A lot of functional details were improved "under the skin" from here onwards, including better airholes designs and a stronger mortise/shank setup utilizing an internal sheath to prevent cracking in decades to come.
