The Twisted Egg

This pipe was sold to Mike Berlyn of the USA in spring, 1998. This still ranks as one of the most difficult pipes I've ever made, though I'm sure that was partly from my lack of experience at the time. The challenge was in sanding the recesses smooth throughout the tentacled shank, and I was eventually forced to wrap sandpaper around the ends of Q-tips to do this. It was my third pipe ever.
