The Manta

This pipe was sold to Robert Pultz of the USA in spring, 1998, though actually made in the late Fall of the year before. It's an example of some of the briar stock I purchased from Paul Perri. It was fairly crudely made and I'd probably wince now, but the style is as dynamic and flowing today as then. The pipe recently passed into the collection of Jeff Folloder.
